Morphology (unacetolysed pollen): Size class: large (50-100 μm). Shape in equatorial view: round or irregularly round. Shape in polar view: triangular/rounded triangular. Aperture numbers: 3. Aperture type: furrows with pores. Surface pattern: isolated dots due to spines or other projections. Exine section: with large, broad-based spines.
Bee pollen pellet colour: Light yellow (Walsh 1978).
