Aperture type: furrows with pores. Surface pattern: smooth or indefinite, or granular. Exine section: thin to medium (no rods visible). Other structural features: intine swollen beneath apertures and cell contents granular.
Bee pollen pellet colour: Brown or beige to yellow.
