Morphology (unacetolysed pollen): Size class: medium (30-50 μm). Shape in equatorial view: flattened oval (oblate). Shape in polar view: round, or multisided/multilobed or irregular. Aperture numbers: 4-6. Aperture type: furrows only. Surface pattern: net or pitted. Exine section: thin to medium (no rods visible), or medium with spaced rods.
Bee pollen pellet colour: White.
