Morphology (unacetolysed pollen): Size class: medium (30-50 μm). Shape in equatorial view: round or irregularly round. Shape in polar view: round. Aperture numbers: 0 or indefinite. Surface pattern: smooth or indefinite, or isolated dots due to spines or other projections. Exine section: thin to medium (no rods visible).
